Three Benefits of Dog Day Care Centers

Doggy day care

62 percent of households in America own at least one pet. Since pets are like children, in that they need care and attention in order to stay healthy, doggy day care is available to provide this to dogs. Dog day care centers are boarding shelters, much like kennels. However, dogs are able to interact with each other and play under the supervision of professionally trained staff in puppy day care. In fact, 147,000 people have jobs in the pet care industry in America, and these services are projected to grow by six percent within the next year. There are several benefits associated with dog day care centers, as the industry as a whole is seeing an increase in popularity.

1. Dog day care businesses provide care for dogs when their owners are unable to care for them. Who is going to watch your dog when you go on vacation? Or how about when you are at work for at least eight hours a day? By providing round the clock care, dogs are always monitored and kept healthy.

2. Charlotte doggy day care is entertaining. Dogs are provided with the opportunity to socially interact with other dogs, and by doing so, they are constantly stimulated. When some dogs are sheltered in homes all day, they become shy around other dogs. By allowing them to play with other dogs under proper supervision, however, they are able to break out of their shells and become more social and friendly.

3. Dog day care centers are safe, as they are run by staff members who are trained in animal care. Not only do they closely monitor dogs by keeping them well fed and entertained, but they also supervise them when they are playing with other dogs to ensure that no dogs become injured. Many centers also have vets on call, so your dog can receive immediate care if needed.

Many Americans want comprehensive care for their pets, and when life gets too busy, dog day care centers are available to provide this to them. In fact, over three billion dollars was spend on pet services in 2008 alone. By providing full pet care when owners are not at home, dogs are still able to live the safe, healthy social life they deserve. To learn more, read this.

  1. This is preposterous! People treat their dogs like children, but guess what, they are not human! They are dogs, they have instincts. They know how to take care of themselves, they dont need some “professional” coming in to pamper them 24 hours a day.

  2. I take it you have never owned a dog before with that attitude. How are dogs NOT like children, besides the obvious? They provide joy to everyone around them, and they need to be taken care of in order to live a long life.
