If you live in the United States, you have probably heard from one source or another about the growing popularity of plastic surgery. Some of the earliest procedures date back to the 1960s, when breast implants were first sold, even though they were not officially approved by the Federal Drug Association (FDA) until 1976.
More recently in 1990, a treatment for eye muscle spasms called Botox, was approved by the FDA, and in 2011, over 5.6 million people in America got Dysport and Botox reno nv treatments. Many procedures, such as breast augmentations and tummy tucks, are performed to help mothers return to the same appearance they had prior to giving birth, often called a “mommy makeover reno“. Others seek out plastic surgery to enhance their appearance in some way or another.
A popular type of treatment is Juvederm XC, which is a facial gel filler that helps eliminate fine lines and wrinkles located around the areas of the mouth and nose. Juvederm for lips, mouth, and nose, that helps create smooth and natural looking skin. Juvederm for lips is created from a gel that is infused with lidocaine to enable a more comfortable treatment experience.
Juvederm for lips? How does it all work? Healthy skin contains a naturally occurring hydrating substance called hyaluronic acid (HA), and as you age, your body begins to become stripped of this, due most impart to exposure to the sun. The skin begins to loose its structure and volume, resulting in folds and wrinkles in the tissue around the eyes, nose, and lips. Is Juvederm safe? It is a safe and effective way to replenish skin of HA, and help it look full and smooth.
First, it is important to understand that most wrinkles and folds occur within the dermis, which is the layer just below the epidermis, or the most outer layer of skin. When HA diminishes, the layers of skin do not absorb water as easily, and therefore begin to lack moisture, and the presence of lines and folds result. Juvederm for lips helps prevent this process from occurring by replenishing the skin layers with HA. Juvederm for lips does not require surgery. In fact, most professionals insert a fine needle just under the skin and fill the soft of the dermis with the gel. Juvederm results are often great, especially Juvederm for lips!

How safe is this procedure? Does it work like Botox? I know it is a different treatment, but is the procedure relatively similar? And how much do the treatments cost?
I think it is pretty safe. The procedure itself is minimally invasive, and usually the side effects are minimal, as far as I know. Just some swelling and redness. I am not sure on the price..it probably varies depending on where you go.
