The plumbing industry is well known in American culture. From Mario and Luigi to Ozzy Osbourne who was once a plumber’s apprentice, the American people like to think that we know a bit about plumbing. However, there’s a big difference between being a professional shower singer, which by the way one in three Americans seem to think they are, and being a professional shower unclogger, which 85 percent of Americans have tried to be.
Though commercials, products, and even home television have made plumbing out to be a simple job, there’s a lot to it that can’t be seen, making it much more difficult that the public tends to believe. It often involves devices that are hidden behind walls or in utility spaces that most homeowners have never seen. Drain cleaning is about as far as most homeowners have gone and probably should go.
For more serious issues, like a clogged drain or clogged sewer line, it is often better call a local plumber. Plumbing experts are able to offer plumbing services or even plumbing advice to those facing messy problems. In the case of a real emergency, calling an emergency plumbing service is only the first step. But how do you know if you have one?
Identifying a sewer clog involves inspection of multiple plumbing fixtures. If more than one toilet in a house is clogged or both the toilet and the tub or shower is clogged, there is a good chance that there is a clogged sewer line. Also look for unusual reactions when plumbing fixtures are used. For example, if water comes out of the shower drain when the toilet is flushed, if the water in the toilet bubbles or rises when you run the sink, or if the toilet overflows or backs up into the tub when the washing machine is on, a sewer clog is possible. Those with a main line clean out can check the clean out for signs of water flowing out or standing in the pipe to confirm a sewer clog.
A sewer clog is a serious plumbing emergency and should be dealt with as soon as possible. Once a homeowner confirms a sewer clog and has notified all house residents not to use any plumbing equipment in the house until the problem has been fixed, homeowners can choose to either rent a sewer drain snake, or call for plumbing help. As clearing a sewer clog can be an unpleasant job to say the least, many opt to call for plumbing help, choosing to leave the dirty work to a professional.
Regardless, plumbing problems should not be overlooked, and frequent plumbing maintenance can help to decrease their frequency. No matter how easy Mario and Luigi made it look, plumbing takes specialized training and is often better left to a professional. See more. More like this blog: www.clogpro.com

How fast can they usually get there? If there was sewage leaking into my tub, I’d want help ASAP.
you can usually cause a lot more trouble trying to fix it yourself than calling someone in the first place
